Presenting the Birth Course I wish I had had! Learn what happens during labour and delivery, what to know for successful breastfeeding and how to take care of your newborn. This series of six meetings will include information on how your body changes during pregnancy, prenatal testing, the hormonal and physical processes that occur during labour and delivery, pain management, and what happens when you take your little one home. We discuss birth plans and, for those of you delivering in Rome, we cover information on Roman hospitals, clinics and home birth and the clarification of roles of the Italian medical professions. Our mission is to arm you with enough information so you can have a birth as close to the one you desire as possible. This course is run by Gabriella Pacini, midwife, lactation consultant (IBCLC) and counsellor and Kiersten Miller her sidekick.
Tuesday evenings from 7pm – 9pm starting November 5th.
Maximum 6 couples. Pricing can be adjusted when needed, just contact us.

Workshop by Emanuela Quagliata, Psy.D. – Child, Adolescent and Family Psychotherapist on Saturday February 1st 1030A-12P.
Being a parent or carer can be stressful, especially when the baby or child you’re responsible for has emotional or behavioural difficulties. Parents can feel ‘stuck’ when they want to help their child but don’t know how to, or feel that whatever they try doesn’t help or even makes things worse. This workshop provides parents and carers from 0 to 3 years old, with some understanding and guidance about child development. Topics covered will include: the long-term effects of early experience, sleep and night terrors, feeding and introducing solids, the development of verbal language, signs of isolation.
To reserve please send an email to emanuelaquagliata@gmail.com
