La Leche League International strives to to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother. It is also a lovely way to meet other English speaking moms and to share your adventures of pregnancy and motherhood in a strange land.

Due to the high number of requests we are repeating this special La Leche League meeting focusing on mothers who need to be separated from their babies. The greatest part of doing this birth course all of these years has been meeting you wonderful people! We now have parents from over 40 different nations and 6 continents (yes 6! One of our dads was stationed in Antartica for a while so we are claiming it!). We would love to have you join us to see your old classmates, their latest additions and meet other lovely new families.
We will have an early aperitivo potluck at Gabriella’s house on Sunday October 28th. Please let us know if you are able to come and what you are able to bring whether it be food, drink, plates, utensils, whatever is easiest for you by writing to info@belliesabroad.com. Sweets will be provided by Dolly’s Tea Service so we are sorted on that front.
