Giving Birth  – How and Where: A Guided Tour.
Presenting the Birth Course I wish I had had! Learn what happens during labour and delivery, what to know for successful breastfeeding and how to take care of your newborn. This series of six meetings will include information on how your body changes during pregnancy, prenatal testing, the hormonal and physical processes that occur during labour and delivery, pain management, Â and what happens when you take your little one home. We discuss birth plans and, for those of you delivering in Rome, we cover information on Roman hospitals, clinics and home birth and the clarification of roles of the Italian medical professions. Our mission is to arm you with enough information so you can have a birth as close to the one you desire as possible. This course is run by Gabriella Pacini, midwife, lactation consultant (IBCLC) and counsellor and Kiersten Miller her sidekick.
Wednesday evenings from 7pm – 9pm starting September 12th.
Maximum 6 couples.

Embracing Our Authentic Joy
This is a five-day / four-night spiritual workshop in Tuscany that happens just once per year. New York therapist Valerie Simon, LCSW, PAT, comes over to Italy to join Rome-based artist Claudia Palmira for a deeply transformational experience. We uniquely use psychodramatic techniques in combination with yoga and optional massage. The location is a gorgeous hilltop farmhouse with views extending to the Tyrrhenian Sea, enhancing the deep relaxation and letting go we do together.
It’s been said that it’s imperative to enjoy life!
Ye it is easy to lose sight of everything that brings us happiness with the chaos of our daily routines. Between family, work, finances, and so much more, we often forget everything that has led us to who we are, and what our deep pleasures and joy come from. In order to bring awareness and practical applications of happiness back to your real life though, you must first break away from real life. We will go deep in our explorations to uncover and support your version of joyful living.
Last minute booking is now available for anyone spontaneous enough to take the leap!

This intensive course will take place on the 29th & 30th of September, each running from 10A – 530P with an hour break for lunch.
