When we are pregnant our bodies go through serious changes at such a rapid pace. Different bodies respond to the changes in different ways. Some women enjoy the changes, other have difficulties with issues such as Diastasis Recti where a gap is created between the abdominal muscles, or a weakened pelvic floor. Join Pilates instructor Teresa Fracasso for pre and post-natal Pilates. She will show you how to use your abs in a safe way during/after pregnancy and how to regain strength afterwards while respecting the changes in your body.
Teresa is a fully certified third generation Pilates teacher having apprenticed under Patricia Medros, a pioneer of Pilates in Italy whose school’s certification program is recognized by the PMA Pilates Method Alliance. To reserve your space please email Teresa: tere.fracasso@gmail.com.Â

Getting yourself and your child a flu vaccine is always a good idea and doing it together is a great way to help them overcome their fears!
On Friday November 8th, Dr. Gesualdo will be administering the flu vaccine at his office (Via Fonteiana, 162 Monteverde) from 3pm -530p . The vaccine called Vaxigrip Tetra can be purchased at any pharmacy including the Murino Pharmacy (https://goo.gl/maps/LjNdNunJ9tkuD7qP9) who has ordered batches for his patients. The pharmacy will be open in the morning until 1pm and in the afternoon from 4pm onwards.
The flu vaccine can be administered from 6 months of age onward. In Italy it is recommended for children who are at high risk of developing a severe form of the flu (such as children with chronic conditions, asthma, diabetes, babies born preterm etc.) However, the vaccine offers protection from the flu also for children and adults who are not high risk, which is why in many countries the vaccine is recommended for the whole population. On this occasion also parents can receive the vaccine.
Places are limited, so those interested can send an email to f.gesualdo@gmail.com.
